Keith Brewster
What’s your name and where do you live?
Keith Brewster. Chardon, Ohio.
When did you start listening to TBTL? How did you find the show?
When did Schubert Dip come out? Ha, no actually it's really hard to know. My best memory is that one of the first shows I listened to was when Luke was riding in the then 'Space Car' and he did a 'show' from there. So, maybe like 13 or 14(ish) years ago? I found it after hearing it mentioned so often on 'Wait Wait'.
How would your friends describe you?
“You're like the coolest person I've ever met.” Ha, again, actually hopefully they would say I'm a good dad and husband and all around nice guy. And hopefully also a little bit cool?
What was your favorite cereal when you were a kid? Is it still your fav?
I think it might have been the Pink Panther cereal (when my mom would let me buy it.) It hasn't been around for quite some time, but these days I go in for something a little more nutritious.
What food do you love to eat the most of?
Gosh, I don't know. I like a lot of different foods. I suppose if we are talking about in one sitting, I could really eat a lot of chips and salsa.
What’s the best or worst nickname you ever had?
Really, I think the only nickname I had (for better or worse) was Punky (after the 80's TV show). It was bestowed my freshman year of college when someone in my dorm I just met heard my last name.
If you could play one song on TBTL, what would it be?
Forever by Walter Meego. I first heard it many years ago as a KEXP song of the day, and it's probably my 11's favorite song. A 'club banger' in the parlance of our times.
What’s a special skill you have that you’re most proud of?
The fact that I can play ice hockey decently, since I have only been playing for about ten years and I didn't grow up playing it.
What’s a special skill that you *wish* you had?
I have been playing D&D a lot over the last several years, specifically as a DM. So I feel like I would like to be a writer. Or maybe just to learn to play the guitar.
If you were driving down the street and you saw Luke and Andrew on the sidewalk, what would you yell at them as you drove past?
I think I always thought I would shout 'Hey dummies!' followed by 'Do you need a ride?’
Can other Tens find you on social media?
On Twitter (yes still there) at @k_brewster. And on the TBTL Slack.
